Mounted generals

Washington
Useful for mounted player’s due to his 35% mounted attack buff but has lower stats than Li Jing with same buff but Washington is much cheaper. Costs 27,000,000 gold.
Ground generals
Oda Nobunaga
A good ground player’s General as it offers a 35% ground attack still strong late game but not the best ground general there is. Costs 30,000,000 gold.
Archer generals
Gustavus Adolfus
Can be used for both a subordinate city General, and for ranged players. Has a debuff of 15% against enemy siege defence, and a buff of 15% of your range and siege attack. Costs 40,000,000 gold.
Li Shimin
Another advanced PVP general. Very useful for archer players due to him increasing archer attack by 15% and march size by 10%. Costs 32,000,000 gold.
Jumong
Good as a early game ranged player general due to his +25% ranged attack and low cost but in late game is better off going with another ranged general. Costs 28,500,000 gold.
Edward the Black Prince
Whether its for a sub city or for ranged players, this general is useful due to his 25% increase in ranged troops attack, and 15% debuff of enemy mounted troops attack. Costs 38,000,000 gold.
Siege generals
William Wallace
Useful for siege players as he is arguably the strongest siege general and also good for subordinate city if you don’t have good siege. Gives a debuff of -20% enemy ground defense and a buff to your siege machine troops attack of 20%. Costs 32,000,000 gold.
Emperor Qin Shihuang
A good siege general, as she adds 35% siege attack. I would only suggest purchasing though if you have a high volume of siege. Costs 28,500,000 gold.
Multi troop type generals
Takeda Shingen
Good general for mounted or ground players due to his buffs in 20% mounted and ground attack, can be used in either ground or mounted sole or as a mounted main with ground second or vice versa. Costs 32,000,000 gold.
Sub generals
Nero
He is great for using on subordinate cities. Offers a debuff of -15% enemy HP. This stacks to a maximum of 50% of the opponents hp buff (due to the update rolled out during Christmas 2018). Costs 24,000,000 gold.
Saladin
If you want to be a d*ck, use Saladin on your subordinate cities. Turns 10% of enemy wounded into killed. Costs 30,000,000 gold.
Flavius Aetius
Currently only been obtainable from the Christmas 2018 login event. Decreases enemy siege machines’ attack by 20% and ground troops’ HP by 20%. Good in sub cities due to the debuff. Not currently purchasable from the Tavern but is worth 50,000,000 gold.
Wall generals
Richard the Lionheart
Strongest wall General for new players. Offers a 30% increase in hospital capacity, great for when your bubble slips (woops!). Costs 35,000,000 gold.
Gathering generals
Queen Jindeok
Offers 40% extra resources from world map spots and 20% from the alliance farm. Great general for harvesting and growing as a player. I would suggest you buy a couple, with a maximum being five (due to the five march limit) and excellent for gathering event, cultivate mainly on politics. Costs 21,000,000 gold.
Boss rally generals

Baibars
Useful for sending on other players rallies due to a nice 25% double drop rate from monsters buff. Costs 30,000,000 gold.
Cleopatra
Only viable Purple General for intermediate – advanced players in my opinion. Carries a 20% double drop rate from monster buff. Costs 16,000,000 gold.
Huo Quibing
The best boss rally general because of the march time decrease, fit with mainly mounted stuff because that goes best with bosses. Costs 35,000,000 gold
I would rate higher but for the fact of learning how to play if you have never played Evony in its previous forms. Fun once you figure out how to play. I had help from the 2nd Alliance I joined in the game. I Where most games have a wiki page & an active forum; no wiki & forum leaves a lot to be desired. I have been waiting weeks for a response to 1 question. When you 1st sign up to the forum you cannot search for a topic until you have submitted 5 questions.
How to use Evony: The King’s Return for PC and MAC
You can run all Android games and applications on your PC or MAC computer. Using a free software called Bluestacks, you don't need to purchase anything but games or applications it self if it isn't free.
- Download Bluestacks from this link.
- Install BlueStacks from installation file with following the on-screen instructions.
- Once Bluestacks is installed add your Google account in it.
- Type Evony: The King’s Return in Search bar and install it.
If you've played AgeI&II this ones takes a bit to get used to, but I'm addicted. Love it!!.... updated rating. Major connectivity issues, if your not a money player customer support doesn't care(contacted them the day of the Easter updated and still waiting) unless you have a device you can devote completely to this game this one isn't for you. Sad very sad.
Awesome game. Better than cok, coq, hardly any lag, gameplay is pretty fair, (theres always going to be big spenders) but with all the gifts and what not you can live in a bubble without spending, packs are decently priced, and developers mail everyone in your particular kingdom of all the hacks and cheaters theyve caught big thanks to that!!! I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves these types of games!!!
Completely addicted. .. even spent a little cash on it. But there is no point in playing when there are people who can kill the entire server with their bought power. I understand why there are in game purchases. . But have you guys considered creating a server strictly for free players?
... and now that I can use customer support, I am getting ignored. Server: 5, Account name: Sugar Plum. Stop adding buggy features and fix what is there! RALLY BUG boots you from game from day one. Any thoughts on fixing that? Still NOT fixed..... Fix fix fix!!!!!!!!! Now my keyboard acts up with this game.
Ever since 1.2.1 update, I cant play the game, freezes constantly, extremely glitchy. Was a great game prior to 1.2.0, updates, then the newer updates ,1.2.1, made it even worse. Fix the glitches and freezing, then ill give a better rating. It's sad when I can't login for longer then 5 minutes before it freezes and shuts down, and when you do get the slim chance of getting on, the entire time its glitchy. It's so disappointing that it's going on day 9 and this is still an issue. Poor tech support team. Poor customer support.
I like this game. It had a few bugs which got fixed, but my biggest pet peeve of mine is the lack of more diversity in different cultures and more diversity when it comes to monarch avatars. If this was fixed I'd be satisfied and entirely grateful.
The game is great.. I love almost ever thing about it but I wish the camera would take you down into the battles and give you control over units while there. That would make it the best rts of all time.
Need a little more filtering on kingdom chat. Can't have a decent conversation about the game play without without indecent sexually explicit interruptions. Otherwise this game beats out COK AND COK WEST. Plenty of rewards , bonuses and gifts are substantial, enabling you to reach the next level without purchasing. Love this game.
Needs better customer support..and less lagging..but great gameplay Even after latest update.. I get kicked and booted from lag.. Takes minutes to swipe across a small area or hive.. Can't attack people if you get kicked from game
Customer support in this game is crap. You tell them there is a glitch and they tell you you just don't understand how this game works.. LEARN HOW TO LISTEN TO YOUR POSTING CUSTOMERS OR YOU'LL LOSE THEM
Game itself is good, but absolutely the worst customer support I've ever seen. In game support takes a week to respond at times and is practically useless, and I sent and email to the developer a week ago with no response.
I have recently spent $25 on items and gems to help with construction and one of my buildings has been stuck building now for a day and a half when I started it 5 days ago on a 3.5 build time but it has eaten all my speed ups and time has not budged. So beware before giving money to a currently broken system
Great game with great graphics! Absolutely horrible customer support!! Always use prepaid when making purchases as I have been charged for multiple purchases when making one. Lesson learned.
I started playing this game about 2 months ago and loved it. I started out on a brand new server with people who were relatively new to the game. I immediately enjoyed the game. I enjoyed it so much that I spent real money to advance my progression. Things were super competitive and it was awesome. There was an awesome April fools event and the server was lively and there were a ton of people. A month passed and the actual player accounts started dying out. Soon there were just empty cities from people who never played anymore, or people who invested so much that they refused to quit the game. They released an Easter event that was pretty terrible. There are tons of bugs, glitches and crashes. The game feels like a chore now. I only log in the collect resources, and say hello to my in game friends, who are slowly leaving the game. Pretty soon I feel like everyone will be gone, myself amount them. To be fair to the developer, they are always giving things away for free. It's a pretty cool thing. Anytime there is maintenance they give you compensation. Hopefully they add new events, features and maybe start spawning new rarer subordinate cities. Otherwise my server will probably die in another month.
the whole monarch competition has been compromised because of app build issues. all who had issues need to be compensated handsomely for this.
Constantly freezing in city load screen and randomly through game since last couple updates. I spend more time trying to login in than playing the game....
If you don't spend money no sense even playing. Mechanics are the worst, defense is useless.

It's a money grab stay away .who has 5 hours a day to play a cell game . Because. That's what u need to keep up on food stone ect. It revolves around how much money u sink into it it's set up to make u purchase just so u can compete.

I really don't like games that are portrait only. I'm a developer and I never make 'portrait only' games. It's just lazy and stupid to do that just to save money.
Has it's perks but also has it's downfalls...The lack of battle mechanics is ridiculous..Cost a lot to be big and then to rebuild cost just as much...

My big problem with the game is that it will not load, it locks up. I've try rebooting my tablet, and it still will not load.
After deleting and re installing still cannot start up the game. What is happening. It's a great game but frustration rules
Icons take up too much space. Too many steps to achieve a single action. Instructions incomplete.
Dumps you out of the game every couple of minutes. Flickers enough to cause seizures. Poorly maintained servers.
There needs to be more ranks in alliance and a ally ,nuetral ,enemy system for alliance . But overall it is a good game.
