As of just yesterday, I have all of these new islamic, jewish, muslim and other holidays showing up in my calendar under the US Holidays. Things like Eid-Al-Fitr, Ramadan, Holi, etc. I haven't changed anything and I've looked in my files, extensions, settings, etc. To make sure that nothing has gotten installed without my permission. How to add holidays to calendar in Outlook?

Add holidays to calendar in Outlook

1. Launch your Outlook application. Click File > Options.

2. When the Outlook Options dialog popping up, click Calendar > Add Holidays. See screenshot:

3. In Add Holidays to Calendar dialog, check the box before the country you want to add. For example, you want to add United States’ holidays to your Outlook calendar, check the box before United States, and then click OK to start adding.

4. When a prompt box showing up, click OK to finish the adding.

5. Make sure that you are in Calendar section, Go to View tab, change your Outlook calendar view to List, you will see all holidays from the year 2009 through 2029 are listed in Outlook. See screenshot:

6. And also, you can see there are nearest holidays showing in the To-do bar.

Other calendars, including room resources, other individuals, calendars from the internet, and Shared calendars, can all be added to your Outlook client to view alongside your own calendar.

How To Add American Holidays To Outlook 2016 For Mac Indent Margin On Left

  1. Click Calendar in the navigation pane.
  2. Click Open Calendar or Open Shared Calendar in the ribbon.
  3. Type the name of the calendar you wish to add into the Search field.
  4. Click the room(s) or people you would like to add and click OK or Open at the bottom of the window.
  5. Click OK.
    • The added calendars will appear in your list of calendars in Outlook.
    • To view another calendar overlaid on your calendar, click the checkbox next to its name.
